„Unter den vielfältigen Facetten der Energiewende berühren einige auch moralische Fragen und Dilemmata: Wie viel Energie kann als ausreichend für einen Menschen angesehen werden? Wie verhält sich die Energiewende zum Umweltschutz? Am ITAS beschäftige ich mich mit solchen Fragen, oft zusammen mit Kolleginnen und Kollegen aus anderen Disziplinen. Mein Ziel ist es, wissenschaftliche Beiträge und Veranstaltungen im neu entstehenden Feld der (normativen) Energieethik zu entwickeln.“
