Beschreibung des Projekts
Das Projekt "Nutzer-Netze" thematisiert die Rolle des Technikwettbewerbs in der Nutzung des Funkfrequenzspektrums. Nutzerbetriebene Netze, wie WLAN/Wi-Fi, stellen hier eine besondere Herausforderung dar. Im Rahmen des Projektes wurde ein Runder Tisch, der "International Round Table on Radio Diversity" veranstaltet (16. November 2009). Hierbei wurde auch der Technikwettbewerb im Mobilfunk thematisiert. Der Runde Tisch wurde als "Start-up" Projekt in Rahmen der deutschen "Exzellenz-Initiative" gefördert. Folgeaktivitäten sind vorgesehen.
