In Furttal, Switzerland, people can experience autonomous mobility in real-world conditions. Researchers from ITAS accompany the real-world lab to find out under what conditions certain groups of people would use the service in regular operation.

Personalia
Daniel Lang, professor for real-world lab research at ITAS, has been appointed to the German Committee Future Earth (DKN). This advisory body of the DFG supports interdisciplinary, integrative sustainability research at both the national and international levels. Among other things, Daniel Lang’s research group examines how real-world laboratories – particularly in the field of sustainability transformation – can be designed so that findings can be transferred to different contexts.
