The ITAS Senior Fellowship Program targets international professors and post-docs. It aims to carry out research and teaching projects at the ITAS site in Karlsruhe that are inspiring for both sides and to establish a long-term cooperation through joint publications and projects.

Senior fellows can contact the heads of institute directly if they are interested in a guest stay (for at least two months). The heads of ITAS invite a maximum of two selected researcher per year to stay at the institute. All travel and accommodation costs are covered. Senior fellows should gain insight into all ITAS research topics and groups while also being able and encouraged to pursue interests related to ITAS research.

They will become a member of a research group and are invited to give a public lecture and exchange ideas with the interdisciplinary ITAS team during internal ITAS seminars. “Tandem visits” by two people researching at ITAS at the same time could also be an option to inspire each other and the ITAS researchers.
