Karl9 – Science hub for technology and society
Technology affects almost all areas of our daily lives. Where technology meets society, opportunities, risks, and numerous questions arise: Do we want to be cared for by robots? How will we get around in the future? Where do we safely store nuclear waste? We find answers to these questions through dialogue between science and society. This is where ITAS research comes in.
The “Karl9 – Science hub for technology and society” in the immediate vicinity of the institute building used to be a space where this exchange with you, the citizens, took place – in the form of exhibitions, discussion events, and workshops. In the barrier-free hub, we provided information about our research during fixed opening hours and welcomed questions and discussions in a relaxed atmosphere.
