New TATuP issue "Beyond short-termism"
How can socio-technical change be shaped well in the long term despite acute political requirements? The current issue of TATuP develops the concept of "long-term governance" further and presents current case studies.
Climate change, nuclear waste disposal and environmental pollution have one thing in common: they are complex challenges with high expectations of technical solutions and potentially serious consequences. The special topic of the current TATuP deals with strategies for the long-term governance of socio-technical change - despite short-term political cycles.
The interview with TA expert Peter Hocke focuses on his many years of research into the governance of nuclear waste disposal. In addition, research articles deal with constellation analyses on weeding robots and autonomous shuttles as well as neuronal optogenetics as a topic for TA.
