Annual NTA meeting at ITAS

The members of the German-language network TA (NTA) meet in Karlsruhe on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of ITAS. On 26 and 27 November 2015, two workshops are held accompanying the annual meeting.

Also this year the members of the network TA (NTA) from Austria, Switzerland, and Germany come together to plan their joint projects and foster the concept of networking. The annual meeting starts on 26 November 2015 at 2.30 p.m. at the ITAS premises in Karlsruhe (Karlstraße 11). In addition to reports from the workgroups and the co-ordination team there is also a workshop on the "institutional settings" of the TA institutions associated in the network. In the evening (starting at 7 p.m.), ITAS holds a reception on the occasion of its 20th anniversary.

On the next day, 27 November 2015, an international workshop on "Technology and Work From a TA Perspective" starts at 9 a.m. It addresses a research topic that is currently investigated by various NTA member institutions. In addition to contributions from ITAS and TAB, also colleagues from Rathenau Instituut (the Netherlands), ITA Wien, and TA-Swiss are giving a lecture.

The network TA, which was founded in 2004, has currently approx. 40 institutional and 250 personal members. Their aim is to foster the co-operation among TA researchers and promote their field of research in science, politics, the economy, and the public. (27.10.2015)
