Along the lines of the question "What did we achieve, what remains to be done?" the fourth openTA workshop will be held in Berlin on 25 February 2015.

During the workshop we will draw up an interim assessment of the portal for German-language technology assessment (TA) which is funded by the DFG. Cooperation partners in the network TA as well as users of the platform get the opportunity to discuss their experience with and wishes regarding openTA. A guest lecture on the use of social media in science completes the half-day program.

The openTA workshop will be held immediately before the 2nd European TA Conference on Wednesday, 25 February 2015, 9 am to 12:30 pm at the Neue Mälzerei, Friedenstr. 91, 10249 Berlin.

Specialist portal with a new publishing service

openTA provides the German-language TA community with the latest news, event dates, scientific publications, and a list of experts. You can subscribe to its services and customize them to your individual needs.

The new openTA publishing service contains approximately 18,000 proofs of publication on TA literature from the years 1972 to 2014. This inventory will be continuously expanded with other publications from the member institutions of the network TA (NTA) and other sources from about 50 years of TA history.

The project openTA is managed by ITAS together with the Institute for Applied Computer Science (IAI) of KIT and the KIT Library. (11.02.2015)
