Project description

Demography, the demand for skilled labor, globalization, and complex technical and organizational processes present us with new challenges. The requirements of increasing automation and digitalization are the drivers with a huge impact on the way in which products and services are provided. Work tasks, job profiles, and even complete professions change with the internal use of new communication technologies on the one hand and economic market requirements on the other hand.

The ITAS team “Work & technology” supports the project partner in 2019 in the following areas:

  • Preparation of a “radar” of labor research in Germany (ongoing activity).
  • Support during the preparation of a roadmap on future topics in the field of “Technology and work” (ongoing activity).
  • Assessments, support activities, and discussion partner regarding the development and generation of ideas of relevant research topics (ongoing activity).
