ITAS Conference "Transsektorale Forschung zum Globalen Wandel", 27-28 January 2000. [17.12.1999]

The conference on "Transsectoral Research on Global Change", is organised by the Institute for Technology Assessment and Systems Analysis (ITAS) in Bonn, 27-28 January 2000, in cooperation with 

  • Centre of Technology Assessment in Baden-Württemberg, Stuttgart, and 
  • European Academy for the Study of Consequences of Scientific and Technological Advance Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler. 

At this conference, three research concepts or projects will be presented and discussed, which aim at realizing a transsectoral research approach: 

  • the "Syndrom Concept" of the Scientific Council on Global Environmental Change of the German Federal Government (WBGU) 
  • the integrative lead project of the Federal Ministry for Research and Education: "AQUA: Availability, Quality and Allocation" 
  • the project: "Sustainable Global Development - Perspective for Germany", funded by the Strategy Fund of the Hermann-von-Helmholtz Association of German Research Centres.
